LES TERRASSES
Panoramic restaurant with terrace overlooking the port of Carry-le-Rouet, offering seafood dishes.
With its privileged setting on the port of Carry, Les Terrasses is one of the small seaside town's must-visit restaurants. The view of the harbor from the various dining rooms is unquestionably one of the finest. The rest, however, is a disappointment. While Les Terrasses may have been a safe bet for many years, it would seem that many aspects have now been neglected. Starting with the service, which was unsmiling, distant and sloppy. It's as if they're a nuisance. On the plate, we tried the Côté Mer sharing plate, featuring homemade octopus salad, tuna tataki, smoked salmon and scallops and scampi en persillade. Bland, unseasoned and lacking in freshness, it was disappointing. And what can I say about the tartar sauce, served in a plastic jar like at a fast-food restaurant, for a restaurant of this standing? A big disappointment.
