Charming sandy beach, very popular and with a nice atmosphere, the only naturist beach in Vallauris.
Access : A8 freeway, exit Antibes - or exit Cannes, but you have to cross Cannes and it is longer. Direction Antibes for 4,8 km, then direction Cannes by the fast road - RN7 bis - which ends by a big traffic circle after 2,8 km. Continue on the RN7, still towards Cannes, from the traffic circle to the beach it is 4.3 km. Just after the Total station, on the right there is a small free parking lot in the ground, often crowded. Under the cobblestones, the beach: take the underground passage on foot, on the right of the parking entrance, or along the railroad.
Comments: it is a very small sandy beach - 20 meters -, and very crowded which generates a great promiscuity that favors contacts between people - lovers of solitude and wide open spaces refrain. Almost 100 % of naturists. The regulars know each other, which creates a nice atmosphere. The behaviors are irreproachable. The beach is managed by the Horizon club. The surrounding rocks are also frequented by naturists on several kilometers. Since 2009, naturism is authorized in Cannes, which makes the beach of the Battery the only naturist one of the city. But in fact, we speak more about the beaches of the Battery, consisting of three distinct beaches. The first one at the exit of the tunnel is the biggest, it is the one of 20 meters. Continuing on the left (stairs), we arrive just before a private property in two small coves with beautiful fine sand. These very narrow coves have a certain charm.
