The Cité Artisanale, a municipal initiative unique in the département, aims to support craft activities by offering suitable premises at competitive prices. Designed by architects Pierre-André Comte and Stéphane Vollenweider, it was awarded the "prix de la première œuvre" in 2008 for its modern space. Home to some twenty craftsmen, this housing estate is an inspiring reference for many other communities when it comes to preserving craft trades.
