The natural site of the Loup stretches over 48 km. Its gorges are a tourist attraction accessible on foot or by car.
To visit the gorges by car (or bike!), take the D6 road. On the way is the Cascades du Saut du Loup site and the spectacular Courmes waterfall. In the Belle Époque, visitors arrived at Pont du Loup by train, and headed upstream in search of fresh air. The viaduct was destroyed in 1944. It was never restored, and the Chemins de Fer de Provence ceased to operate the line. Pont du Loup is also the starting point for a well-known hiking trail: the Chemin du Paradis, which leads to the hilltop village of Gourdon.
