Relatively recent (1930 to 1937) this work is part of the Maginot line. Equipped with powerful artillery, it consists of three concrete blocks on an infrastructure of underground galleries. He protected the forts of Saint-Roch de Castillon and Barbonnet by blocking the valley of the Bévéra. You can access it from the village of Sospel: take the stairs that go up to the schools (beacon 72) then the start of the GR52.
