A new facility has opened at 73 Quay of the United States. The former Jazz Rock Café and then the G-Club had taken over the premises. Today, it is around the Warehouse, a chic and modern bistro, that we are settling in this sought-after area facing the sea and behind the Cours Saleya. Le Petit Futé went to take the temperature of this new address in Nice.
A bistronomic French-style cuisine ..
The establishment, faithful to the spirit of the bistro, offers a French cuisine revisited with liveliness and modernity. Ideal for dinner at the weekend, the Warehouse also welcomes you all week long from lunchtime. It is in this context that we tested the kitchen. Among the selection of starters we have chosen homemade foie gras, burgundy snails and frog's legs with pastis. On the flat side, the Warehouse offered us a cassolette of scallops and crayfish accompanied by its sweet potato purée or a rib of mountain pig and potatoes. Lunch was punctuated by the tasting of a tiramisu and a homemade tarte tatin
The Warehouse has nothing to envy to the successful restaurants of the region, no doubt that the establishment will quickly make its place in the heart of Nice!
...in the heart of a New York bar!
The main asset of the Warehouse is undoubtedly its decoration and its New York atmosphere As soon as we arrive by the generous terrace located on the quay, the decor is set by an old barber's chair highlighted. Inside, it is the central bar and its various leather and metal stools that will catch your eye. The omnipresence of wood and metal, as well as antique decorative objects and cosy furniture give the room a warm industrial atmosphere
This visual identity is reinforced by a rich bartender's signature cocktail menu to be enjoyed with homemade tapas (nachos and guacamole, curried goat's cheese crisp, tomato and raw ham pan con or stuffed artichoke hearts)
In short, during the week and at weekends, for lunch or to meet up after work for a drink, the Warehouse bistro will delight you!
