The equestrian circle of the Val de Sioule was born in 1980, by the will of Albert Lursat, then owner of a painting company. He quickly built a large stable, a riding school, and then a career, and gave the club a reputation in the area. Unfortunately, Albert Lursat died shortly afterwards. The commune then took the club under its wing, and in the 2000's gave it over to other horse enthusiasts, Olivier and Élodie, the current owners.
