A place not to be missed! Accessible from the Gordolasque valley in 3 hours of walking (compared to 4 if you start from the Authion massif via the Turini pass), this valley takes its name from its 40,500 protohistoric rock engravings... the largest rock engraving site in Europe! Forest of hundred-year-old larches, lakes and steep summits, including the famous Mount Bego, form a unique mineral landscape. There is a free trail that allows you to see the engravings, but organized visits in season are recommended to understand everything about their history.
