GÎTES LA ROUSSE ET SAINT-LAURENT
This village in the Mercantour National Park contains two Panda Gîtes. In an ancient house made of stone, the La Rousse holiday unit is completely isolated, in an area where the stags come to roar in mating season. Chamois, stags, deer and ibex are easily seen from the terrace of the gîte, along with eagles and bearded vultures. The Saint-Laurent gîte is just outside the hamlet on an ancient farm. The owners have restored these holiday units with respect for the past and can show you how best to observe wildlife.
