Arriving in Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, you can't help but be enchanted by its chapel, visible between the two cliffs overlooking the village. Built between the 12th and 16th centuries, it was listed as a historic monument in 1921. The chapel is famous for its "suscitations". In the 17th century, stillborn babies were reincarnated here during their baptism, enabling them to reach heaven. See the fourteen stations of the Stations of the Cross.

La vue panoramique sur Moustiers-Sainte-Marie et le lac de Sainte-Croix est absolument splendide. Le sentier est assez raide par endroits, donc mieux vaut prévoir de bonnes chaussures.
À faire de préférence le matin ou en fin de journée pour éviter les grosses chaleurs. Une belle récompense vous attend en haut, autant pour les yeux que pour l’ambiance paisible de la chapelle.
