Founded in 1949, the Ubaye Valley Dairy Cooperative was created to promote traditional mountain cheese-making know-how. Currently the cooperative has 2 sites with a point of sale to individuals: the headquarters in Barcelonnette where dry cheeses are made, and La Bréole for fresh cheeses and yoghurts. Today, it groups together 11 mountain dairy farms for a collection of around 2 million litres of milk per year.

Pour les amateurs de fromages, c'est parfait. Très bon accueil, produits de qualité. Pour les retardataires, il y a même un distributeur de fromages ????

En vacance a jausiers, nous sommes passé à la coopérative laitière découvrir les fromages de pays. Très bon accueil, la personne de la boutique nous renseigne très bien. Les fromages sont de très bonne qualité et très bon. La carline est excellente ainsi que le fromage au génépi. Très belle découverte et adresse.
