A warm restaurant with attentive service that offers comforting cuisine based on local products.

A real mountain restaurant as one hopes to find in the region. Located on the main street of Barcelonnette, you enter in a warm atmosphere, a decoration all in wood which makes you feel like in a chalet. In winter, comforting cuisine based on local products. Reblochonade, tartiflette, fondue and ravioles. It's good and it protects from the cold. A warm welcome and attentive service. Among the most famous specialties of the house, the donkey ears gratin and its green salad or the cabbage sausage from the neighbor Fossati.

Très bonne expérience au restaurant le poivre d’âne. Le prix est compréhensible au regard de la qualité des plats. Nous nous sommes régalés. Le personnel est accueillant et très agréable. Nous avons passé un très bon moment, nous recommandons.
