English pub offering a cuisine combining English and French dishes as well as pizzas, an open stage to sing on the spot
The Footbridge Tavern is an English pub in the Poitevin countryside! The premises, owned by the commune of Valdivienne, have been renovated and taken over by Julia and Stuart. This English couple fell under the spell of the region. With regularly renewed dishes, they offer a blend of English and French cuisine: fish and chips, beef, burgers... Next door, pizzas are available to eat in or take away. On the entertainment side, on the second Friday of each month, from 7.30pm, the microphone is open to all. Singers and bands also perform.

Brilliant community tavern, the owners and all the locals were friendly and welcoming, really enjoyed our drinks in the sun by the river, will definitely grab a bite next time.

Restaurant très sympathique. Les gérants sont très gentils et serviables. Les plats sont simples et appétissants pour un prix très abordable. Nous nous sommes régalés. Nous avons passé un très bon moment.

Le cadre est chouette, et les patrons et leur fille super sympa, on y mange super bien. le fish and chips au top !!! le choix des vins avec des excellents bouteilles et surtout des prix corrects...bref, que du tout bon, il faut y aller ...félicitations

Très bonne accueil !Le restaurant /bar est très bien situé à côté d’un petit château et d’une église burger et fish and chips sont délicieux !!!Personnel très sympathique je le conseil fortement !!!
