English pub offering a cuisine combining English and French dishes as well as pizzas, an open stage to sing on the spot

The Footbridge Tavern is an English pub in the Poitevin countryside! The premises, owned by the commune of Valdivienne, have been renovated and taken over by Julia and Stuart. This English couple fell under the spell of the region. With regularly renewed dishes, they offer a blend of English and French cuisine: fish and chips, beef, burgers... Next door, pizzas are available to eat in or take away. On the entertainment side, on the second Friday of each month, from 7.30pm, the microphone is open to all. Singers and bands also perform.

Super pause ce midi sur la route des vacances. pas très cher et très bon,les enfants étaient ravis. Plat 'enfant à 6 ,90 , sirop à 1 euros je crois... Les propriétaires anglais sont très gentils, le toutou a été bien accueilli en terrasse. Très bonnes bières à 5 €,stout au chocolat. Parfait.

Nous avons passé une agréable soirée au footbridge tavern dans un village magnifique. Nous avons dégusté un fish and chips. La bière n'est pas chère, les prix sont vraiment très attractifs. Le restaurant est charmant, tout comme l'accent anglais des patrons vraiment très adorables.
