It's in the logis de l'abbé, a neo-medieval building adjoining the famous Saint-Savin abbey, that this establishment invites you to enjoy a pleasant moment of gastronomy. Completely renovated, the building features a restaurant with a refined, elegant decor. Gourmets will be surprised by the creative, simple and elegant dishes. The restaurant makes a point of respecting the seasonal nature of its produce, and favors short supply chains. In fine weather, the terrace offers a beautiful view of the Gartempe River.

Absolute gem of a place in a sleepy and historic village of St Savin. Part of the Abbey has been converted into a restaurant. The chefs are young and eager, same with the staff. The wine is clearly displayed and prices displayed-for you to make your choices.

Cela commence par un très beau cadre tant extérieur qu'intérieur. L'accueil est soigné tout comme le service tout au long du repas. La cuisine est raffinée.

Endroit très agréable et cuisine excellente pour un déjeuner en famille. La mise en bouche, les plats, et la pâte de fruit maison ont été fort appréciés. Seul petit bémol sur les desserts. Nous avons trouvé que le choix et la présentation ne valait pas le reste de la carte.

Très belle expérience dans ce lieu chargé d'histoire. Menu du midi à 29 € vraiment très bien. Plats de qualité, belle présentation. Juste une déception avec le café à 3.50 € qui n'était pas vraiment pas terrible (peut-être un réglage de la machine à revoir...).
