CHAPELLE NOTRE DAME DE LA ROCHE

Successively Gallic villa, Roman house and chief town of a viguerie under the Carolingians, the commune is certainly one of the most interesting places to study because of its antiquity. It has an ancient temple, placed under the invocation of Saint John, from which comes the name of Saint-Jean-de-Sauves. The church overlooks the valley and a superb panorama. This chapel of beautiful size testifies to an unusual fervour, and gives to see an interesting building.
