LA MILLIÈRE, MEDIEVAL VILLAGE

The "discovery" walk of the medieval village of La Millière by the river and at the foot of the castle ruins is a must when visiting Romagne. A Roman road passed through this place and a Gallo-Roman temple was erected above the village. The village, dominated by a castle of which little remains today, with its old bridge and its old houses, has retained a medieval aspect. At the beginning of the 20th century there was an oil mill near the ford.
