ISLAND AND WATER LEVEL OF THE SPINNING MILL

In the arms of the Clain, around the pond and along the footpath that passes under the walls of the factory and on the island, signs provide information on the fauna, flora and history of the spinning mill created in 1856. For decades, this factory has given rhythm to the daily life of Smarves and Ligugé. Since 2011, the site has been gradually rehabilitated, making La Filature a third place where artists' studios and a craft brewery cohabit. You can also enjoy the beach on the edge of the pond.
