Situated about 9 kilometres south of Poitiers, the municipality of Smarves is the starting point for a green road that will take you to Nieuil-l'Espoir, some km away. Through between woods and fields, it leads you to Nouaillé-Maupertuis, near a former Benedictine abbey. If the heart tells you, a hook can be interesting. The route, which is mostly flat and easy to access, still includes a few short passages that should be mentioned. Prepare for a short climb to 16%.
