To discover the heritage of Civaux, go to the museum. The audioguide will enlighten you on the church, the necropolis, the Merovingian baptistery and on the museum's collections. More than 200 objects from prehistory to the Middle Ages, discovered in and around Civaux, are kept there. The room dedicated to the Roman period is one of the richest with numerous ceramics, a magnificent head of statuette, as well as a very mysterious tomb. In the room dedicated to the Merovingian period, do not miss the famous hippomorphic fibula which has become the emblem of the place.

From 2.30pm to 6pm on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays in May, June, September, October and November. Every day from 10.30am to 12.30pm and from 2pm to 7pm in July and August.
