Read moreIn the town of Chauvigny you'll find the "Histoire de cuir" boutique run by David Brissonnet, an artisan leatherworker with a passion for leather. He specializes in the creation of full-grain leather belts, which he selects himself from his supplier in Parthenay. He attaches great importance to the quality of his products and refuses to use inferior leathers. In addition to belts, he also offers small leather goods, and can work on furniture and motorcycle upholstery projects. David Brissonnet obtained a CAP in leatherworking through VAE (Validation des Acquis de l'Expérience), and now trains trainees. He also devotes part of his time to the creation of vénerie clothing, due to the growing demand for hunting products.
