L'Atelier Boutique is the association of two creative talents: colorful dressmaker Delphine Genet and framer Laura Guy, also known for her upcycled creations under the name Kit et Kraft. In their home, they welcome you for made-to-measure creations. On the shelves, other local producers, artists and craftspeople from near and far, have deposited their marvels. In the heart of the medieval town, behind the P'tit Choucas, you'll find the illustrator duo Luc Turlan and Véronique Hermouet. Luc Turlan has been illustrating children's books for over 16 years. Who hasn't read the adventures of the pig Crapoto or Peluchon, the Poitou jackass? In over thirty albums, he tells local stories. And from morning till night, he pencils in new adventures for Les Amis de la ferme. In summer, he shares his profession and his passion. His partner Véronique, an illustrator and paper designer, offers her creations.

Under the Deshoulières and Aplico brands, the Chauvigny site produces tens of thousands of pieces of porcelain every year. In the boutique, you'll find the latest collections and sales by the kilo of plates, cups, dishes, teapots... for family tables as well as those of catering professionals. In her studio, Myriam Chesseboeuf creates illuminations and calligraphy. After 13 years in Quebec, she returned in 2022 to the city of her childhood. Artisan d'art, Best Craftswoman of France in 2019, observe her technique. She composes her color palette using pure pigments, mixed with egg white, honey... recipes from the Middle Ages! She also uses gilding to sublimate family trees and copies of old manuscripts...

In the town of Chauvigny you'll find the "Histoire de cuir" boutique run by David Brissonnet, an artisan leatherworker with a passion for leather. He specializes in the creation of full-grain leather belts, which he selects himself from his supplier in Parthenay. He attaches great importance to the quality of his products and refuses to use inferior leathers. In addition to belts, he also offers small leather goods, and can work on furniture and motorcycle upholstery projects. David Brissonnet obtained a CAP in leatherworking through VAE (Validation des Acquis de l'Expérience), and now trains trainees. He also devotes part of his time to the creation of vénerie clothing, due to the growing demand for hunting products.
