LE LION D’OR

It is an institution in Chauvigny. Formerly a post house in a bourgeois residence in the lower town, the hotel-restaurant Le Lion d'Or is one of those traditional establishments where people like to go for its authenticity. The chef, Yohann Laglaine, concocts regional specialties that he honors in the regional menu (farci poitevin, lamb, broyé, grimolle...). The plates are greedy, the service is meticulous and the restaurant keeps its promises for a good quality-price ratio. In summer, enjoy the pretty terrace.
