Along the road from La Roche-Posay to Châtellerault, the Les Jardins d'Hespérance organic market garden farm is one of the largest in the department. Claude Plault heads the farm. Since 2008, he has been cultivating 4.5 hectares of land to produce tomatoes (including heirloom varieties), squash, zucchinis, eggplants, leeks, lettuces, carrots, radishes...
