Le Cormenier, a place to go back in time that people under 20 can't know in Champniers.
What is a "cormenier"? It's the name given, in the local dialect, to a tree called cormier or sorbier. There's a 300-year-old tree opposite the museum. This is where we go back in time. In this fun, interactive space, with its staged scenes, old objects, forgotten smells and videos, you're transported back to 1898 to discover, through 8 rooms, Pierre's life, his birth, his school, springtime, the farm, the village's old trades... The tour continues with interactive scenes from the 30 Glorieuses.

Très beau musée sur la vie à la campagne de Pierre raconté par « Le Paillou » un épouvantail attachant et un musée des années 1950 à nos jours. A voir absolument en famille.
