Bar-restaurant with a large modern bistro room in Bessay-sur-Allier.

This bar-restaurant, ideally located on the square crossing the town, is open from 7am. Convenient when you need to take a breakfast break, accompanied by crispy croissants, before taking the N79 or the N7. If you are passing through around midday, they have a large modern bistro room, with a seating area, where you can taste the dish of the day made with local products and Charolais meats. They also make sandwiches for those in a hurry. Every first Saturday of the month, themed lunch at noon.

Un excellent restaurant de campagne pour couper la route. Juste à 5 min d’une triste aire d’autoroute sans âme, retardez (ou anticipez) votre arrêt sur la N7, c’est le meilleur choix possible entre Nevers et Roanne. Cuisine maison soignée pour une addition très abordable, patrons accueillants, sympas et arrangeants, service rapide. Un excellent spot où je m’arrête depuis des années dès que j’en ai l’occasion pour manger un bout, boire un café et taper la discute avec les propriétaires. Recommandé sans réserve.
