An opportunity to discover the walled city, through a stroll in the curtain walls built in the Middle Ages, the Porte de l'Horloge.
A walk in this old walled town, seat of a Bourbonnais châtellenie, is a must. Although the castle has completely disappeared, some ramparts with four towers still dominate the village. Discover the curtain walls built in the Middle Ages, as far as the Porte de l'Horloge, the main gate of the town and the last vestige of the four gates that once existed, opening onto the ditches that are still visible, ten metres deep. On the west side a pond served as additional protection.
