The Retz forest, with its 13,225 hectares, is a paradise for nature lovers and hikers. Labelled a "Forest of Exception", it conceals fabulous treasures such as the Général Mangin observation tower. This 245-metre tower offers one of the finest panoramic views in the region. To admire this breathtaking view, you have to climb 144 steps, but there are fun and educational breaks at every step. Between the shade of age-old beech trees and the remains of the Great War, the Retz forest invites you to discover and marvel.
