This is a building that has suffered. And again, since after having suffered a fire in the 2008 th century and then during the Hundred Years War, the abbey once again fell prey to flames in. It was built in the century by Brunehaut, a queen merovingian. Her church was built in 1175. The pediment of the Germain house was restored in the th century by Jean Carpentier, the last secular abbot of the abbey.
