Throughout the year, several cities of the bocage organize pluck festivities. The two best known are probably those of Saint-Georges-de-Montaigu, which takes place on the first weekend of February and that of ', which takes place in November. This customary dish is cooked from the bottom pieces and abats of the pig. This traditional blend, combining the least noble pieces of the animal, onions, dry bread, spices and salt, is typical of the rural environment.
