Restored mansion with terraces and equipped with a swimming pool, pool house and whirlpool

We fell in love with this magnificent bourgeois residence in the center of Montaigu, restored with exquisite taste. Set in a park with century-old trees, 30 minutes from the Puy du Fou and Nantes. The house has preserved its original tiles, stucco, wood panelling, fireplaces and parquet flooring. The majestic entrance hall, lounges and dining room are draped in green and Asian accents, with furniture brought back from the owners' travels. And if you add a swimming pool, pool house, whirlpool bath and terraces, you'll never want to leave Le Céladon!

Pearl room

Situated on the 2nd floor, the Perle room seems to emerge from a dream of beach and mist. Wrapped in "blue-gray" tones, it reveals silky fabrics sourced in Asia, and is surrounded by beautiful pastel furniture and soft, pretty objects. Having retained its original parquet flooring, Perle expresses a refined, soothing decor. It has a 140 cm bed and can accommodate two people. It has plenty of storage space and an en-suite shower room with private toilet.

Mother-of-pearl room

Located on the 2nd floor, the Nacre room is a subtle blend of soft, powdery colors, enhanced by soft fabrics and a plush bed. A historic lion's foot bathtub, delicately placed on a wooden platform, personalizes the bathroom. It has a 140 cm bed and can accommodate two people. From its balcony, you can admire the town and the church steeple. Private toilet.

Jade room

Located on the 2nd floor, opposite the Perle room, the Jade room faces the park. It borrows not only the green of the hundred-year-old trees, but also the extravagant Asian green colors. Equipped with a king-size bed (180cm) or two 90cm beds (depending on demand), it can also accommodate an extra crib. It has a private bathroom and toilet overlooking the park.

Amber room

The only room on the 1st floor of the house, the Amber Room is a promise of travel and escape. Antique furniture, antiques and vintage objects give it a distinctive personality. Ambre, Le Céladon's most spacious room, has a 160cm bed and can accommodate two people. In the spirit of a boudoir, its private en-suite bathroom adds to the discreet, comfortable luxury of the space. Private toilet.

The little celadon

Suite with independent access, Le petit Céladon comfortably accommodates up to 5 people (4 people + baby bed possible).Renovated in 2022, this former henhouse, nestled in the heart of the historic park, combines exposed stone, wood and glass. Featuring a bright, charming kitchen with dining area, in the spirit of the greenhouses of yesteryear, this 40 m2 space has a mezzanine bedroom (140 cm bed), a garden-level sofa bed (140 cm) and a shower room with toilet. Overlooking a delightful 65m2 private vegetable garden, the family heirlooms and antiques in shades of green add to the serene country feel. A true invitation to relax and daydream, Le Petit Céladon is the perfect place to stay for lovers, family or friends. Guests at Le Petit Céladon have access to all outdoor facilities (swimming pool, jacuzzi, park, terrace, parking, bicycles, barbecue).

J'ai eu le plaisir de séjourner plusieurs fois au Celedon. Notre Hôte Sophie est charmante et a fait de notre séjour une parenthèse apaisante. Le céladon est un lieu où l'on se sent "comme a la maison". Je recommande vivement.

We had a great stay at Le Celadon. Sophie is a perfect host and very welcoming, she speaks excellent English and Spanish. The chateaux is charming and wonderful, it’s like a museum and full of antiques. It’s been featured in several French magazines. Guests have access to the kitchen area, a downstairs living room and an upstairs living room. Also with access to the patio with lots of seating and views overlooking the beautiful garden. We stayed out of season but in Summer there is also access to a huge swimming pool and summer house.|We both loved Okusai the dog. He is very friendly and quite a character! |The bedroom was large and decorated with lots of interesting antiques and the bed was probably the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in.|There is a nice continental breakfast each morning and you can help yourself to coffee in the kitchen.|The house is located in the middle of Montaigu. Its a nice village with a lovely park at the end of it. There are several bars and restaurants. The train station is just a 10 minute walk so it is possible to visit several places such as Nantes, the medieval town of Clisson and the seaside without use of a car.|I would recommend Le Celadon and would stay again.

Nous avons fait halte chez cette charmante et sympathique personne lors d'un périple à vélo et je vous conseille fortement cette chambre d'hôte, le lieu mérite le détour, c'est du haut de gamme pour un prix raisonnable, nous avons pu profiter de la piscine, les chambres et la décoration de la maison sont à voir. On a l'impression d'être chez des amis. Le petit-déjeuner copieux et permet de repartir avec des forces pour la journée.
