Finfarine Spiruline is an aquaculture farm located in Poiroux, Vendée. Spirulina specialist Barbara Remond heads up the farm. Spirulina is an organism invisible to the naked eye that requires heat and sunlight to grow, making it an ideal food to cultivate in the Vendée Littorale region. The Finfarine farm grows a non-GMO strain of spirulina using farming methods that respect consumers, the grower, spirulina and the environment. Outside this period, it is preferable to make an appointment. During visits, visitors can discover how spirulina is grown and harvested, and ask the producer any questions they may have.
