Born in 1945 from an observation, tired of being exploited, the farmers of Noirmoutre decided to create a work tool allowing them to pool all the means of mutual aid. It gathers 50 producers, who cultivate approximately 450 hectares of potatoes on the island. At the Noirmoutier Agricultural Cooperative, a retail store (l'Île aux Jardins) open to individuals. Petit passage obligé pour moi pendant mon séjour sur l'île et juste avant de partir pour ramener les parfums et saveurs à famille et amis ou les retrouver à la maison !
