This Renaissance building is located 2 km from the town, on the road to Avrillé
Just 2 km from the village, on the road to Avrillé, stands the Château de la Cantaudière, a 16th-century Renaissance edifice built by André Le Geay, who was Provost of Poitou under Louis XIII. The three corner towers, the moat in which the image of the château is still reflected today, and the elegant proportions of the dwelling and the ensemble give this manor house a particular appeal, but unfortunately you'll have to wait until the Heritage Days to enjoy it.
