More recent than the central halls, the building was built in 1935 by the architect-voyer M. Casse and the contractor Montegilardi; it is part of the avant-garde architectural heritage. Bargees and merchants give it a bustling life. The stalls abound with a selection of local products such as seafood, meat, fruits and vegetables as well as pastries and cakes. On Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, a fairground market is set up on the outskirts of the Arago market to offer more products: flowers, clothes, etc.

Bon marché sablais
Tout y est , la fraîcheur , les étals et surtout l’ambiance à deux pas du remblais on y trouve de tout de l'entrée au dessert sans oublier les friandises pour les enfants

Marché typique de la ville avec tous ces étals de poissons frais, fromages, pâtisseries et légumes de la région. C'est cela sent le frais ! et pour une balade le dimanche matin, c'est bien agréable.

An old-fashioned market all year round smells cool, the merchants are very cool, the fish farmers give you easy and tasty recipes, attention open only in the morning but what show!
