Located between port and beach, this district is considered the oldest quarter on this side of the channel. It is a neighbourhood composed of very narrow streets and typical houses of fishermen with windows at the level of the carriageway, old shipowners'houses built in time or Les Sables-d'Olonne was the first morutier port of France. Guided tours from April to October. Information at the Tourist Office.

ce quartier se situe entre le port de pêche et la plage
les rues sont très étroites et font des passages rapides entre le port et la plage en évitant de faire le tour
il reste quelques belles demeures anciennes maisons d'armateurs
