The Natural Educational Park of Olonne organizes thematic visits of this protected natural area on these themes: traces and clues of animals, marsh plants, birds, history, succeed his naturalistic photos. There are only 3 salt marshes still active on the Iîe d'Olonne, 7 on the whole marsh. In the former salt marshes, a bird reserve has been created: Champclou, which extends over 37 ha, with several lakes or moats. To be observed: avocets, teals, whistling ducks, cormorants, swans, herons...

Ne pas repartir sans s'être promené au travers des ces marais. Mais bien choisir son moment car lorsqu'il fait chaud et que le soleil est des plus lumineux, il n'est pas très conseillé de faire cette balade avec des enfants en bas âge.
