The beach is just a stone's throw from the Sports Ocean Institute, at the entrance to Château-d'Olonne, a perfect place for board sports.
Just a stone's throw from the Ocean Sports Institute, at the entrance to Château-d'Olonne, the beach at Tanchet takes its name from the stream that feeds the fresh water body that overhangs it behind. At the southern end of the Baie des Sables, it hides among the rocks. It is the ideal place for water sports: surfing, wave-skiing, sea kayaking, body-boarding. It is the surfing spot of Les Sables-d'Olonne, labeled 2-star Surf City! The beach is supervised and maintained. Animals are not allowed from April1st to September 30th, nor during the All Saints' Day holidays.
