With its terrace overlooking the embankment and the great beach, Chez Marcel enjoys one of the most beautiful views. This is not the only reason for its success: the quality of the cuisine is another. Home-cooked, bistro-style. Between the short menu, the slate and the suggestions, between the pan-fried octopus with parsley, the fish and chips or the burger, we fell for the low-temperature farmhouse pig breast from Vendée, with sweet and sour jus. Don't forget the homemade desserts, like the mille-feuille, which are both generous and delicious.

We've fallen in love with this friendly brasserie in Les Sables-d'Olonne! Located by the sea, the Chez Marcel brasserie offers an idyllic setting for relaxing and enjoying good times with family and friends. Let yourself be seduced by its warm and elegantly decorated dining room. You can also take advantage of its spacious terrace, offering a breathtaking view of the sea. Chez Marcel is renowned for its tasty cuisine, prepared with fresh, quality produce. Depending on the season, starters include organic Vendée snails stuffed by Maison Roy, scallops with Nantes butter and parmesan crackling, or home-cooked foie gras with onion and pear chutney. You can then continue with fish'n'chips in panko breadcrumbs and tartar sauce, or pan-fried octopus in Espelette butter, accompanied by roasted grenailles and fresh baby spinach. Meat lovers will be delighted with the Chez Marcel burger, entrecôte steak or the low-temperature-cooked farmhouse pork belly from Vendée. Vegetarian dishes, such as the veggie burger and Mie Goreng, are also available. To round off your meal in style, let yourself be tempted by gourmet desserts like mille-feuille and tarte Tatin. The restaurant also offers a full drinks menu, including wines, beers, cocktails and soft drinks.
