In 2019, a new original creation will be created in the heart of the Grand Parc: "Le Premier Royaume"! This immersive show, entirely designed and produced by the teams at Le Puy du Fou, is inspired by a pivotal period in the history of France, never before seen in the Grand Parc shows. In the 5th century, in the midst of the fall of the Roman Empire, ravaged by the hordes of Attila, visitors will follow the fate of Clovis, king of the Franks. They will relive Clovis' conquests, but also the doubts of this great strategist shared between the ancestral traditions of his people and the new path he could choose to found the First Kingdom.
With "Le Premier Royaume", Le Puy du Fou invites its visitors to dive into the heart of 14 dream worlds to follow in Clovis' footsteps for nearly 20 minutes. After crossing the scriptorium surrounded by the hordes of Attila, the effervescent royal armoury, and the Merovingian palace where the famous Soissons vase sits, visitors will gradually reach the Valhalla, the world of ancient myths and beliefs, to understand the uncertainties of this troubled period. To design this new original creation, Le Puy du Fou has created a show in total immersion with rich sets and original special effects. As every year, all the shows at Le Puy du Fou will continue to evolve. This perpetual quest for excellence has been in the very DNA of Le Puy du Fou for over 40 years. In order to carry out these ambitious projects, Le Puy du Fou is investing nearly 28.5 million euros in 2019.
