PHILIPPE HEITZ

Winery
5/5
1 review

Here, the vineyards have been certified organic since 2012, but this is not a fashion: it is a real philosophy! Philippe pampers his vines which give such good wines, especially from the Hahnenberg and Finkenberg plots. Sylvaner, Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Pinot Gris, Muscat, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Noir, Crémant: there is something for everyone! Not to mention the exceptional Grands Crus Bruderthal and the Vendanges Tardives. A visit is a must, especially since Philippe offers you the possibility to personalize your bottles!

Here are wine merchants as we like them, passionate and sincere. Pierre and Jérôme certify that with them, everything is tasted and selected with care on the sole basis of quality, all year long thanks to a direct and regular contact with human-sized estates in France and abroad. We have more than 400 references of good organic, biodynamic and natural wines. Pierre (best young sommelier of France 2025) and Jérôme (charismatic winemaker) regularly organize Discovery & Tasting evenings for the "epicureans" of the area and elsewhere.

HENRI KAES VIGNERON

Winery

Since 2008, Henri Kaes has been cultivating 7.5 hectares of vines that are now certified organic. Henri has not yet switched to biodynamic farming, but he has been applying the good practices since his early days as a winemaker. Heir of 6 generations rooted in the vineyards of Molsheim, Henri welcomes you in the cellar of his family home, a beautiful half-timbered building dating from 1533, an ideal setting to discover his wines made with a beautiful instinct. In particular his Mollesheim Leimen, a powerful and full-bodied Alsatian red (from pinot noir), sublime!

DOMAINE GÉRARD NEUMEYER

Winery

After Gérard Neumeyer and his wife Gabrielle, the next generation has now taken over. Jérôme Neumeyer and Marie Neumeyer-Tonner use their passion for vines to reveal the many facets of the Bruderthal. This grand cru terroir was already described in 1316 for its great winemaking qualities: optimal exposure sheltered from the north winds, very homogeneous marl and limestone soils covering a substratum of Muschelkalk limestone and dolomite. It is planted on sixteen hectares. The Nemeyer family's estate produces rigorously fine wines that give rise to a multitude of emotions. The harvest is manual, the pressing is done on whole fruits and the vinification uses indigenous yeasts. All this is accompanied by controlled temperatures and maturing on fine lees.

CAVE KAES - AUBERGE VIGNERONNE WINSCHNUTZER

Winery

On a charming square where there is no shortage of references to the village's wine-growing activity, you can combine the discovery of vine products with the tasting of local products directly from the region's farms. This is the concept developed by Henri and Hélène, brother and sister from a family of renowned winegrowers. They therefore offer gastronomic events that give pride of place to the wines of the Kaes estate. Epicureans will appreciate the harmony with typical Alsatian dishes (baekeoffe, sauerkraut, coq au riesling and other delicacies prepared according to the market). You can visit the vineyard on request: eight hectares on the hillside with beautiful landscapes. On a clear day, you can even see Strasbourg Cathedral and the Black Forest.
