The first farmers settled on the site 6,500 years ago. Archaeological excavations have been carried out on the Neolithic site of La Motte discovered by Jean Jousse. The site is run by volunteers. A small permanent exhibition is presented there. You will discover Neolithic tools, how our ancestors hunted, how they lit fires, etc. The volunteers have the project to rebuild one of the houses of the Neolithic village that was discovered in the 2000s.
