After 25 years in photography, Bertrand Bouflet from Mayenne has decided to return to his first love, gastronomy, by "exploiting" the riches of a tree that is both familiar and little-known, which since 2009 has become his work companion: the elderberry (or Sambucus nigra). And so, in his laboratory in Soulgé-sur-Ouette, he makes products based on black elderberry whose tonality is that of wild and woody blackberries: jellies, jams, preserves, syrups, sweets, caramels, drinks, infusions..., all these delights can be bought online.
