HIPPODROME DE LA TOUCHE

A place of craonnaise life and the equestrian world, national and international. For the Turfistes, the Three Glorieuses who take place every September - a race so named because the first horse competitions began in Craon in 1848, the year of the eponymous revolution. The most awaited race is the Grand cross, which takes 6 000 m each year, 15 000 spectators compete with the performances of jockeys and their mounts. At the end of September the Autumn festival, three flat-table meetings, including the great Steeple-chase of Craon, is the point of organ.
