Ackerman has been a pioneer of Saumur wines since 1811, and offers a complete immersion in its gigantic troglodytic cellars, in the midst of majestic artistic installations inspired by the singularity of the place. Indeed, every year, in collaboration with Fontevraud Abbey, an artist is welcomed here for a residency. The tasting and the guided tour allow you to discover more! An exceptional sensory visit to discover the best products of the Saumur region, in particular the famous crémants de Loire.

Opening time and information on ACKERMAN

Low season: open Monday to Saturday from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm and from 2:00 pm to 6:30 pm; Sunday from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm and from 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm. High season: every day from 9:30 am to 7 pm. Closed on December 25th and January 1st. Delivery possible (many animations in a splendid frame under ground). Visit and tasting from 5,50 €. Tourism & Handicap label.

Visite des caves intéressante bien qu'il n'y ait pas de guide "en chair et en os" pour vous accompagner et répondre à vos questions mais seulement un audioguide..
Le parcours est peu interactif et relativement monotone, des améliorations sont à apportées mais globalement satisfaisant. La dégustation se fait debout mais est assez complète.
Belle expo temporaire.

Excellent cellar, everything is very well explained, videos, original course with works by artists, and finish with a game room old that one can use. Admission to €3 (they are reimbursed if you buy products for £30.70)
