This museum is located in the former stables of the Cadre Noir. Through paintings and sculptures, relive the battles in which the French cavalry has distinguished itself throughout the centuries, from the Hundred Years War to the present day. It is above all the period objects that will attract your attention: knives and firearms, but also armour and uniforms, old helmets and kepis... some of which have apparently been used, as evidenced by the bullet or shell impacts. Beautiful reproductions of horses complete the visit.
