18th century mansion with rooms decorated in an antique style
View of the Loire or the château? You'll be amazed! The decorator of this 18th-century mansion, listed as a historic monument, was inspired by the muted atmosphere of the period. Take a moment to admire the sumptuous staircase crowned by a trompe-l'œil ceiling designed by Percier and Fontaine, architects to Emperor Napoleon I. Some rooms are also decorated in an antique style, with Louis XVI, Restoration or Empire decor. The copious breakfast is quite satisfying.

Excellent accueil, personnel très sympathique, de belles chambres, un magnifique cadre et une vue imprenable sur le château.
3 nights on Saumur, two in this beautiful perfect hotel from all viewpoints (including that overlooking the magnificent Loire). One station in the courtyard with views of the beautiful château de Saumur and we liked the high ceilings of the rooms.
