Friendly atmosphere and traditional cuisine of chef Michel Marczak in a restaurant in Saumur.

A native of Lyon, chef Michel Marczak is attached to his native cuisine, and wanted to recreate the atmosphere of a bouchon here, with its traditional dishes and convivial ambience. The marriage of Lyon tradition and Anjou gentleness produces a perfectly successful result, both in the kitchen and in the dining room, with a personal decor that has been found over the years. The menu features 7 starters, 7 main courses and 7 desserts: rabbit leg confit, veal kidneys and, for dessert, honey-roasted apples and Chartreuse-glazed soufflé... A Rabelaisian address just the way we like it!

C'est le joyau local qu'il faut réserver à l'avance. La nourriture est vraiment de qualité supérieure, détaillée et délicieuse. Les légumes sont incroyables et accompagnent chaque plat principal. Nous avons passé un bon moment.

Cela vaut la peine de s'aventurer loin du centre-ville de Saumur pour ce superbe bouchon. Super nourriture avec un service amical dans un espace détendu et confortable. Laissez de la place au désert !
