Friendly atmosphere and traditional cuisine of chef Michel Marczak in a restaurant in Saumur.

A native of Lyon, chef Michel Marczak is attached to his native cuisine, and wanted to recreate the atmosphere of a bouchon here, with its traditional dishes and convivial ambience. The marriage of Lyon tradition and Anjou gentleness produces a perfectly successful result, both in the kitchen and in the dining room, with a personal decor that has been found over the years. The menu features 7 starters, 7 main courses and 7 desserts: rabbit leg confit, veal kidneys and, for dessert, honey-roasted apples and Chartreuse-glazed soufflé... A Rabelaisian address just the way we like it!

Quel plaisir d'aller dîner au Pot de Lapin ce Samedi 28 Juin 2025 à l'occasion d'Anjou Vélo Vintage ! Nous avons découvert les talents des nouveaux propriétaires ???? Des produits frais cuisinés à la perfection avec une équipe passionnée par son métier, un service irréprochable, des assiettes extrêmement bien présentées.... Das Essen war hervorragend. Bedauerlich war es aber dass sie Chefin(?) den anderen Gästen ausführlich die Speisekarte erklärt hat und uns ein junger Kellner nur gefragt hat ob wir Fragen zur Speisekarte haben. Außerdem haben wir auf einen Tisch gewartet und Gäste die nach uns gekommen sind würden zuerst begrüßt und an einen Tisch gebracht. Als diese Gäste die Chefin darauf aufmerksam gemacht haben hat sie nur gesagt dass das nicht schlimm sei. (Soviel französisch verstehe ich) Anschließend war die Chefin beim bedienen zu uns sehr freundlich. Aber für den ersten Eindruck gibt es keine zweite Chance. Es entsteht der Eindruck dass hier nur Stammgäste gerne gesehen werden.

Arrivé au hasard, un accueil très sympa, un service au top, nous avons déjeuner à l'extérieur car nous avions un chien, en ce qui concerne le repas c'était très bon, des plats raffinés avec des saveurs qui réveille les papilles,un serveur au top et qui connaît sa carte.
