LE BIBLIOTHEATRE

Le is a hyphen between books and stage. For over 10 years, Philippe Mathé has tried through the boards to give life to the literary narrative. Around three formulas (Show Large Format, Pocket Show and Page Show), the texts fly to allow history to be placed in the eyes of the public. In the drum, small itinerant theater tent, the shows move from town to town, village in village, in the spirit of the "théâtreux" of yesteryear. Philippe Mathé (former member of the N.T.A., founder of the Battleground Theatre) and his troupe also invest prestigious places such as the theatre hall Le Quai, or the All library. With his company Books in scenes, it is all the literature he plays in order, as he writes nicely, «to book better».
