Stuffed galipette and various dishes in a restaurant with terrace offering a beautiful view on the Loire.

The troglodyte restaurant which is next to the mushroom farm is, as it should be, dedicated to mushrooms. You can eat galipettes, a variation of large button mushrooms stuffed with fresh goat cheese, rillettes, andouille sausage, smoked salmon... - cooked in a wood-fired oven. Even the dessert refers to the mushroom with a trompe-l'oeil with a meringue hat. In summer, you can enjoy the terrace with a view on the Loire. It is not a gastronomic restaurant and in high tourist season, the address is very... touristy. But the coherence of the mushroom house is still there!

The food was so fine, the waiter though wasn’t very polite, he chose to go to the tables where the people talked French. People that came after us got service before me and my family. The waiter didn’t look at us and our food came after 30 minutes. With that said it was a very niche experience to sit in a tuffeau cave.

The museum was informative but with an artistic part that had little relevance.
